Meet Our Founder | Cheif Executive Director

Dontrail Evans C.L.C, B.A is the Founder of Restoring.Our.Youth.Organization Inc. , a community influenced, non-profit organization dedicated to providing empowerment programs, development training and community services to our surrounding youth. Dontrail was born and raised in his home city Harvey, IL. Similar to youth groups growing up in today's generation, Dontrail has faced ups and downs as a child. Dontrail calls his childhood experiences, "The ups and downs walk." Dontrail was brought up in a single-mother home, making his partial youth experience one that included taking on responsibilities at a young age. Overcoming those childhood hurdles has made him a relatable and positive figure for today’s youth. Despite his challenges, Dontrail has been fortunate to have had experienced programs along with being guided by mentors that steered him into a better future.

At the age of 6, Dontrail began his journey of dancing and leading by entertaining his family right in the comfort of his grandmother's living room. His imagination led him to host dance shows and entertainment talk shows with his Dad, grandmother, Aunt, and cousin. It wasn’t long after, that he found his calling to dance and lead.

Since the 5th grade, Dontrail has been known for his HIP HOP dancing gift. Dontrail was introduced to the art of dance by his mother, who has been long considered a pillar of communities and youth. Not only has Dontrail excelled in dance, he is also described as an exceptional leader.  

Dontrail has led groups of youth, young adults and communities since the age of 15. Dontrail has also had the opportunity to be a leader and father to his 7 year old daughter Zipporah. Dontrail has had great achievements and experiences in a variety of positions, and has since decided to give them all back to the youth, young adults, and communities of today. His goal is to encourage the youth to become productive citizens for today, tomorrow, and generations to come. He understands the cry and call for help because he was once that crying kid who simply needed it. After years of diligent work and efforts to launch a non-profit organization benefiting his community, Restoring.Our.Youth.Organization Inc. was formed, with the immense support from his community, friends and family.
