Events That Restore & Empower
R.O.Y.O. hosts regular community events throughout the South Suburban Chicago area and parts of Chicago west, south, southwest, and south side ares designed to provide resources, celebrate our youth, and strengthen the bonds that hold our communities together. Whether you're a family looking for support, a young person seeking opportunity, or a neighbor who wants to give back — there's a place for you here.
How We Show Up for the Community
Community Events / Resource Giveaways
Free community resource events distributing essential goods, school supplies, hygiene products, and more to families in need across our target communities.
Youth Showcases
Celebrations of our youth participants — featuring dance performances, talent showcases, and recognition ceremonies honoring the growth of our program members.
Community Workshops
Educational and skill-building workshops covering job readiness, financial literacy, leadership development, and more for teens, young adults and communities.
Volunteer Day of Service
Organized days of community service where volunteers and neighbors, and partnering organizations come together to improve local spaces and support families in our target communities.
A New Home for Community Events
Our new facility — opening with a soft launch on August 15, 2026 — will serve as a permanent hub for community events, youth programs, and resource distribution. Located in Chicago, IL in partnership with Prologis, this space will allow us to serve more families than ever before.
