Restoring Our Youth Organization, Inc. currently offers six empowerment programs available for member participation. Please note that some program schedules may overlap. Members are encouraged to carefully review each program's description, dates, and times prior to registering to ensure full participation without scheduling conflicts.
Financial Assistance: For families who may need financial assistance, additional information is available regarding our Help-A-Hand Payment Plan, which is designed to support access to our programs while easing financial burden.
Safety & Background Checks: The safety and well-being of our youth, teens, and young adults is our highest priority. All volunteer staff and organizational leaders who have direct contact with youth or teen members — whether virtual or in person — are required to successfully complete a background check through our trusted partner, Sterling Volunteers. The Growing Futures Program is designed to help our youth, teens, young adults, and communities achieve proper resume writing skills, interviewing skills and dress code, job assessment do's and don'ts, and creating a professional profile.
Our Services with a Smile program engages members in volunteer service, benefiting communities and partners. The program cultivates respect, responsibility, leadership, and teamwork, instilling core values while giving back. Members earn volunteer credit hours applicable to high school, college internships, and more.
Our Dance program offers a dynamic and enriching experience for members of all levels. We provide expert instruction in hip hop, jazz, and modern dance, fostering creativity, discipline, and teamwork. Members showcase their talents through regular public performances and special events.
Plant a Seed has a simple yet powerful goal: to birth leaders. The program provides hands-on experience in project planning and leadership through collaborative projects that embody our core values — identifying project deliverables, creating project schedules, building supporting plans, and putting skills to the test.
BookaBoo invites youth aged 5–15 into a world of captivating short stories filled with playful peek-a-boo surprises. Stories are crafted to capture imaginations, hone listening skills, and encourage reflection. Poetry learning and instruction is also included for teens and young adults.
The Your Choice program fosters unity among members and within the organization, providing unwavering support throughout their journey. Through self-building skills and tasks, members develop personal and professional attributes, preparing them for a productive future while fulfilling court-ordered volunteer hour requirements.
